Call to Worship

This is the day – this is the day that the Lord has made – that the Lord has made.  I will rejoice – I will rejoice and be glad in it – and be glad in it.  This is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.  This is the day – this is the day that the Lord has made!

Come!  Come, my friends!  Let us rejoice in the Lord together!

     Let us rejoice and be glad.

Rejoice!  Celebrate the Lord.  Worship God in the beauty of holiness.

Hallelujah!  We will worship and rejoice!

This is the day – this is the day that the Lord has made – that the Lord has made.  I will rejoice – I will rejoice and be glad in it – and be glad in it.  This is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.  This is the day – this is the day that the Lord has made!

Prayers of the People

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.  Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.  Amen!

Affirmation of Faith

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was: Conceived by the Holy Spirit; Born of the Virgin Mary; Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and buried.  On the third day, He rose from the dead; He ascended to heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there, He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Catholic Church; the Communion of the Saints; the forgiveness of sins; the Resurrection of the Body; and the life everlasting.  Amen!

The Gloria Patri

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen.  Amen!
